Beaver, John Jr. (1 NOV 1879 - 12 May 1914)
John Beaver Jr. passed away at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. He has been ailing for about four months with the dreaded disease known as consumption. It is sad at any time to stand beside a bed of the dying and watch life's ebbing tide drifting the loved one slowly, perhaps, but surely into the great ocean of eternity, but this death has brought relief to a good husband and kind father.
John Beaver Jr. was born in Jefferson Co. Nov. 1, 1879 and came to Clark County, Wis. with his parents about thirty-one years ago. He was united in marriage to Anna Schmitz Aug. 18, 1903. He leaves to mourn his early death his wife and one little girl about nine years old, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Beaver, Sr.; and the following brothers and sisters: George Beaver of Granton, Nick and Edward of the town of Beaver, Mike, William, frank, Philip, Peter, Vernie, and Matthew, all of Loyal, Mrs. Frank Bauer, Mrs. Joseph Wedl and Bertha of Loyal, and Mrs. Mike Duvall of Bakerville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9 o'clock from St. Balthasar's Catholic Church. Rev. Stenz will officiate.
