Meyer, a well known and highly respected resident of the town of
York, Clark County, Wis., died last Saturday evening, Aug. 7, 1915,
at 8:30 o'clock at the age of forty-nine years. Annie Scheckelman
was born in Bavaria, Germany in 1866 and came to America with her
parents when seven years of age. Twenty-eight years ago she was
united in marriage to Charles Meyer, the wedding taking place at
Jefferson, Wis., after which the couple came to Clark County, Wis.,
where they have resided ever since on a beautiful farm in the town
of York. Deceased was well
liked by all who knew her and was a loving wife and mother who will
be greatly missed in the family circle. She leaves to
mourn her death, her husband and six children, who are as follows:
Ottillie, Alvin, Albert, George, Lizzie and Julita, all at home,
also three brothers and two sisters, who are, Joe Scheckelman,
George Scheckelman, Norbert Scheckelman, Mrs. J. Meyer and Mrs.
Albert Schweiger, besides other relatives and many friends. The funeral was
held Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock from St. Balthasar's Catholic
