George Collins Hewett died at his home at Milwaukee, Monday, Sept. 20, 1915, of enlargement of the heart.

Deceased was born in the State of New York in 1863 and came to Clark County, Wis. with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George G. Hewett, when he was nine years old. Twenty-nine years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Mary McKenzie of Loyal. The family moved to Milwaukee six years ago, where he worked for the Wis. Iron Bridge Co. until last Christmas, since which time he has been failing in health.

The body was brought to Loyal for burial last Wednesday, the funeral taking place last Saturday afternoon from the M. E. Church, Rev. Hendren of Greenwood and Rev. Powell officiating.

He leaves to mourn his death his wife, three sons, George, Danny and Turner, and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Lynch, all of Milwaukee, also two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith of Schroon Lake, N.Y., and Mrs. Emma Haslett of Loyal, and one brother, Harry Hewett of Greenwood, besides many other relatives and friends.

The funeral was held under the auspices of the M. W. A. Camp of Greenwood, of which he was a member.
