Garvin, Sarah J. (14 May 1835 - 26 NOV 1915)
Sarah Jane Anderson was born at Standon, Canada, May 14, 1835. She was married to William Garvin, April 6, 1850, and came to Clark County, Wis. the fall of 1874, locating on a farm in the town of York.
To this union were born 11 children, Violet dying at the age of 10 years and Jack dying two years ago.
Mrs. Lucinda Ross, Thomas, William, Edward, Albert, Arthur, Sidney, all of who reside in the west, Mrs. Hannah Pickel of Antigo, Fred of Loyal and their father remain to mourn her loss.
Mrs. Garvin has lived the past year with her son Fred, 8 months of which she has been confined to her bed, passing away Friday morning, Nov. 26, 1915, at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 12 days.
She was a faithful and loving wife and mother, a true friend to those in need, and always ready to help others in time of sickness and trouble.
