Dimler, Martha (14 January 1901 – 15 December 1980)
Mrs. Orville (Martha) Dimler, 79, of Marshfield, died Monday, December 15, at
her home. She has been in ill health the past 18 months.
Mrs. Dimler, the former Martha Sprenger, was born January 14, 1901, to Rudolph
and Marie (Krainz) Sprenger in the Town of Weston. She was raised in the Globe
area and attended parochial school there. She was married February 6, 1924. They
farmed in Greenwood until 1947 when they moved to Marshfield. She was employed
at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, for 20 years prior to retirement.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Rudolph Dimler, Madison; a daughter, Mrs.
Arbutus Ridgewood, Stoughton; four grandchildren; and several
great-grandchildren. She is deceased by three sisters and two brothers.
