Yesterday noon occurred the marriage of Mr. George Phipps to Miss Eva Vogel, the wedding taking place at Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., Judge Schoengarth tying the nuptial knot.

The bride wore a beautiful gown of white messaline trimmed with white shadow lace and carried a bouquet of white roses while the groom was attired in blue serge.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vogel of our village. She is a pretty and highly accomplished young lady and a great favorite among her associates. She has made her home in this village for a number of years, and has a large circle of sincere and devoted friends. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Phipps of the town of York, Clark County, and is a model young man of sterling worth, who is well known and popular among his acquaintances in this village and in his community.

The affair was a quiet one and not celebration was had. The young couple will make their home with the groom's parents in the town of York.
