Gloff, Ella (Marriage - 7 Apr 1915)

The first wedding solemnized in the new Lutheran Church took place yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, when Mr. Theodore Pagelsdorf was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Ella Gloff, Rev. Kemena officiating.

The bride was beautifully attired in a charming gown of white messaline silk and carried a bouquet of beautiful flowers. She was attended by Miss Esther Pagelsdorf, sister of the groom. The groom wore dark blue serge and was attended by Mr. Arthur Gloff, a brother of the bride.

After the ceremony a sumptuous wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, for the immediate relatives and friends, after which the evening was spent playing games and different amusements.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Gloff. She is a pretty and highly accomplished young lady and a great favorite among her associates. She has made her home in our vicinity for a number of years, and has a large circle of sincere and devoted friends. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pagelsdorf of our village, and is a model young man of sterling worth, who is well known and popular among his many acquaintances in this village, and the neighboring towns. The young couple will make their home on what is known as the Lyons farm.

We join with the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Pagelsdorf in extending hearty congratulations and wishing them an abundance of joy and happiness through life's journey.
