Sevcik, Caroline (Marriage - 16 JUN 1915)
The Catholic Church was another scene of a pretty wedding Wednesday morning, June 16, 1915, at 10 o'clock, when Mr. William Bauer was united in marriage to Miss Caroline Sevcik, Rev. Stenz officiating.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white, wore a wreath and veil and carried pink carnations. She was attended by the Misses Barbara and Margaret Sevcik, both her sisters, while the groom was attended by Joseph Sevcik, brother of the bride, and Nick Bauer, his brother.
Immediately after the ceremony the guests were escorted to the home of the bride's parents in the town of Beaver, Clark County, Wis., where a bounteous and delicious dinner was served, and the guests enjoyed themselves during the remainder of the day.
The bride is a pretty and highly accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sevcik and one of our choicest young ladies. She has ever been a bright star in the home circle and now she has gone to reign as queen in her own home.
The groom is a son of Mrs. Peter Bauer of the town of Beaver and is a well known young man in this vicinity, having lived here for many years. The young couple will make their home with the groom's mother.
This office joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes as they embark on life's rugged voyage together.
Guests from out of town who were present were, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Sevcik and daughter Josephine of Kewaunee, Wis., Mathew Sevcik of Kewaunee, Wis., Ed and Mathew Bauer of Hewitt, Wis., and Frank Sevcik of Milwaukee.
