TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 07/27/1916 Hubing, Mike (1848
- 19 Jul 1916) The people of this
village (Granton, Clark County, Wis.) were sadly shocked and pained
to lear Wednesday afternoon of the sudden and unexpected death of
Mike Hubing, which occurred at his home in Athens, Wis. as a result
of heart failure. Mr. Hubing is well and favorably known here,
where he and his family made their home for 40 years, beloved and
respected by a host of friends. Mr. Hubin was born
in Belgium, Ozaukkee Co. in 1848, and was there married to Miss
Margaret Klein. In their early life they came there to live,
settling on a fine farm, which he purchased here in the town of
Grant, and where they continued to reside until about three years
ago, when they sold out to Ben Langreck and moved to Athens, where
the majority of their children lived. He is survived by his wife
and seven children, namely, John of Loyal, Frank, George, Ernest,
Emil and Clara of Athens, and Mrs. George Beaver of this place. The
funeral will be held Saturday but at the time of our going to press
it had not bee decided as to whether the funeral would be held in
Neillsville or Athens. The sympathy of this entire community goes
out to these bereaved ones in this sad hour. (Granton News) © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
