(5 Jan 1880 - 9 JUN 1917) Teman C. Trinrud
was born Jan. 5, 1880 in the town of Scandinavia, Waupaca Co.,
Wis., was confirmed in the Norwegian Lutheran Church when a child.
He received a good common education and later attended the
Scandinavia Academy. On Sept. 8, 1909 he was married to Miss Elsie
Emerson of Loyal, and passed away June 9, 1917. He leaves to mourn,
his beloved wife, an aged mother, Mrs. J. T. Trinrud of
Scandinavia, Wis., two sisters, Mrs. O. L. Bestul and Mrs. George
Sheveland, five brothers, Thomas, Carl, Martin, Albert and Alfred,
all of Waupaca Co., Wis., also a large number of relatives and
friends. Mr. Trinrud came
to Loyal, Nov. 7, 1905 and was employed by J. Wiric & Co. for a
number of years. After resigning his position with Mr. Wiric he was
employed by the R. Connor Co. at Auburndale for a short time. From
there he moved back to Loyal, Clark County, Wis.. After his
marriage to Miss Elsie Emerson of this village he purchased a farm
near Loyal, where they lived for one year, after which he exchanged
the farm for the Hotel Tremont, where he lived up to the time of
his death. He held the office
of Village Clerk of the Village of Loyal for four years and was
reelected for the fifth term at the spring election, resigning this
office a few weeks ago, owing to poor health. Mr. Trinrud was an
honorable member of the Modern Woodmen of America, being a member
of Loyal Camp No. 1414 for a number of years. He was also a member
of the Maccabees. He was a pleasant
and agreeable man to meet, always having a pleasant smile for
everyone. The funeral
services were held at the M. W. A. Hall on Tuesday afternoon at 2
o'clock, June 12th, Rev. W. C. Clock officiating, and burial was in
the Loyal Cemetery. The Modern Woodmen
of Loyal camp attended in large numbers and took a part in the
services, there also being some present from Neillsville. The
Maccabees and R. N. A. also attended in a body. The floral pieces
given by the societies and relatives and friends were numerous and
very beautiful. All the stores and
business houses in the village closed from 1:30 until 4 p.m., as a
mark of respect. The family has the
