TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 04/13/1916 Offord, Lillie
(Marriage - 5 Apr 1916) Last Wednesday
evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Offord, of the town of
Loyal, Clark County, Wis., occurred a social event that is of much
interest to the people of this locality, the marriage of their
daughter, Lillie, to Mr. Harry W. Richmond of this city. Rev. W. P.
Powell of Loyal, officiated. Mr. Jesse Richmond, Mr. Jesse Offord,
Miss Eunice Richmond and Miss Pearl Offord accompanied the happy
couple to the altar. After the
ceremony, a sumptuous wedding supper was served and then the guests
danced until a late hour. Mr. Richmond is a
hustling young farmer who through his enterprise, honesty and
congeniality has gained a host of friends. The bride is a
young lady who is well known in the vicinity of Loyal, held in the
highest esteem by all who know her. The community May well feel
proud of this young couple, and the expression of congratulations
and hope for their happiness that are so bountifully extended them
are fully deserved. The bride and
groom, together with the bride's parents and family, left Tuesday
for Eau Claire; they will reside on a farm near that city. The Gleaner joins
with their many friends in wishing them the very fullest measure of
contentment and prosperity in their future life. (Greenwood
