TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 10/26/1916 Schroeder, Elsie
L. (Marriage - 18 OCT 1916) A very pretty
wedding took place at the Lutheran Church at Veefkind last
Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1916, at 2 p.m., when Miss Elsie L. Schroeder
was united in marriage to Mr. Albert H. Mellenthin, Rev. E. Kemena
performing the ceremony. The church and
also the house were prettily decorated for the occasion. After the
ceremony the guests assembled at the bride's home, where a
bountiful wedding supper was served. The evening was spent in
dancing. The bride wore a
white messaline dress with lace and net trimmings. The bride is the
second oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schroeder. She is of
a kind and sunny disposition and has many friends. The groom is a
stranger in this vicinity, but is well spoken of by his
acquaintances. Mr. and Mrs.
Mellenthin will live at the groom's home north of Spencer. The Tribune joins
with a host of friends in wishing the young couple a long and happy
life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
