TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 12/07/1916 Ives, Sadie
(Marriage - 26 NOV 1916) Miss Sadie Ives
and Mr. Homer Spry, two well known and popular young people of the
town of Fremont, Clark County, Wis., were quietly united in
marriage at the home of the bride's parents last Sunday, Nov. 26,
1916, at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Mallory. The bride is the
third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Ives, a young woman who is
very ladylike and has pleasing manners, who makes friends readily
and holds the friends so made. She was beautifully gowned for the
occasion in a tan Georgette crepe trimmed in white lace. They were attended
by his brother Myron Spry, who acted as groomsman and by Dulcia
Smith, a close friend of the bride, who acted as bridesmaid. After
the ceremony a bounteous dinner was served. Besides the bridal
party, only close relatives were in attendance. The groom is the
oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Spry, a young farmer, industrious
and competent in his chosen profession. The newlyweds will take up
residence on the Webb Winn farm in the town of York, where the
groom has employment for the coming year. May joy and happiness
accompany this worthy young couple. (Granton News) © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
