TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 04/26/1917 Francis, Blanche
(Marriage - 20 Apr 1917) A very pretty
wedding took place at the Lutheran Parsonage Friday evening April
20, 1917, at 7 o'clock, when Miss Blanche Francis became the bride
of Mr. Albert Schmidt, Rev. E. Kemena officiating. The bride was
dressed in white satin messaline trimmed with shadow lace and the
groom wore the customary black. The bride was attended by Miss
Agnes Schmidt, sister of the groom and the groom was attended by
Mr. Floyd Francis, brother of the bride. The bride is the only
daughter of Mrs. Clara Francis and is a very highly esteemed and
respected young lady. She has grown to young womanhood only three
miles from where they will reside and is a girl whom everyone
respects. The groom is the youngest son of Mrs. Johanna Schmidt and
is an industrious young man who has worked in this vicinity (Clark
County, Wis.) as a carpenter for a number of years and has a host
of friends. After the ceremony and congratulations and a shower of
rice, they all returned to the home of the bride's mother, where
supper was served to about twenty-five relatives. The bride and
groom received many beautiful presents and best wishes for a happy
wedded life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
