TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 06/07/1917 Wilcox, Florence
(Marriage - 2 JUN 1917) A pretty home
wedding took place at Stevens Point at the home of Mrs. Wilcox on
June 2, 1917, at 11 a.m., when Miss Florence Wilcox was united in
marriage to Mr. Irvin Etta, Rev. McGlander of the Presbyterian
Church officiating. Only immediate relatives were present. At noon
a bountiful wedding dinner was served. The bride wore white crepe
du chien and carried white carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Etta
left the same day on an extended wedding trip to visit Chicago,
Denver, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Diego,
Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Minneapolis, Ashland, Bayfield and
Loyal. They will be at home after Aug. 1st, where Mr. Etta has a
position as telegraph operator. The groom is a son
of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Etta, and is very well known here (Loyal,
Clark County, Wis.), having lived here most of his life. He has
many friends in Loyal who join with the Tribune in wishing the
young couple success and happiness. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
