TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 07/03/1919 Swieso, Frederica
(14 Sep 1853 - 25 JUN 1919) Mrs. Swieso died
of heart failure last Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
James White. The news came as a shock to everyone, for while it was
known that she was not well, yet she was not considered seriously
ill. Frederica Baker
was born in Germany Sept. 14, 1853 and died June 25, 1919, at the
age of 65 years. On Sept. 10, 1870 she was united in marriage to
John Swieso at the Lutheran Evangelical Church at Columbus, Wis. To
this union thirteen children were born, five of who, with her
husband, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss five
daughters, Mrs. H. G. Seipp and Mrs. Wm. Sanderson of Columbus,
Wis., Mrs. Clarence Cole, Marshall, Wis., Mrs. C. J. Jensen,
Pecatorica, Ill., and Mrs. James White of Loyal, three sons,
Hobart, John and Walter of Loyal, twenty-two grandchildren, besides
other relatives and a large circle of friends. She was a loving
and kind mother, always ready to sacrifice for her children and
home. The funeral
services were held at the Methodist Church at 2 o'clock on Saturday
afternoon, Rev. E. E. Strevey officiating. She was buried in the
Loyal Cemetery beside her husband. The family has the
sympathy of everyone in their bereavement. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
