TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 07/31/1919 Neuman, August (15
NOV 1840 - 25 Jul 1919) August Neuman died
suddenly last Friday afternoon, July 25, 1919, on the farm of John
Lintner at the age of 78 years. He seemed to be in
usual health and worked in the forenoon and went again to the field
after dinner, where Mr. Lintner found him a few hours later, where
he had fallen in the field. It is probable that he had been dead an
hour or two when found. August Friedrich
Neuman was born Nov. 15, 1840 in Germany. He was married in
1866 to Mary Ricklow. To this union six children were born, three
of who, with his wife, preceded him in death. In 1892 he came to
America. He was married again in 1916 to Mrs. Anna Reinhardt, who
survives him. He leaves, besides his wife, three daughters, one
brother and other relatives. The deceased lived
for awhile on his farm in the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis.,
but many years ago moved to this village, where he has since lived.
He was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church and a man that had
the respect of everyone. The funeral
services were held at the Lutheran Church on Monday afternoon at 2
p.m., Rev. E. Kemena officiating. He was laid to rest in the
Lutheran Cemetery (Trinity) north of town. The relatives have
the sympathy of everyone in their bereavement. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
