TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 03/11/1920 Teel, Matilda (28
MAY 1859 - 5 Mar 1920) Matilda Teel died
at the Marshfield Hospital March 5, 1920, after several months'
illness at the age of 60 years. She was born at
Iron Ridge, Wis., May 28, 1859, and came with her parents to Clark
County, Wis., 53 years ago, where she has since lived. She was a good
Christian and a kind neighbor and friends, so she will be missed by
all. She is survived by
one brother, Charles of Loyal, and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Syth of
the town of Eaton, Augusta Smith of Stevens Point, Mrs. Bertha
Luchterhand of Loyal, and Mrs. Flora Bruswitz of Iowa. The funeral
services were held at the home Monday afternoon, March 9th, Rev. J.
H. Chatterson officiating. She was laid to rest in the Dodgeville
Cemetery. Those from away
who attended the funeral were Mrs. Jesse Smith, Mrs. Augusta Smith
and daughter, Hulda of Stevens Point, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Johnson of
Fond du Lac, Mrs. Flora Bruswitz, Iowa, and Mrs. Emma Syth of
