(25 Apr 1905 - 3 Mar 1920) James Orr Simmons
was born April 25, 1905 in the town of Beaver, Clark County, Wis.,
and after a week's sickness of pneumonia, passed away March 3,
1920, aged 14 years, 10 months and 7 days. James was an
unusually bright and active child, with winning ways. When about 9
years of age he became paralyzed and since that time was obliged to
be in a wheel chair most of the time. During all this time he was
so patient and loving disposition will ever be a blessed memory and
inspiration to his family. The funeral
services were held in the Beaver M. E. Church Friday afternoon,
March 5, rev. Perkins of Spencer officiating and he was laid to
rest in the Simmons Burial lot of the Beaver Cemetery, beside his
grandma. He leaves besides
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Simmons, two brothers, Kenneth and
Raymond, one sister, Susan and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W.
