Brodbeck, Kunda (2 April 1909-16 July 1983)

OWEN -- Mrs. Frank (Kunda) Brodbeck, 74, Route 1, Owen died Saturday at the Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford.

Services were today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen. The Rev. Richard Fliss officiated, and burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. The Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, handled arrangements.

The former Kunda Drolshagen was born April 2, 1909 in the Town of Little Black, Taylor County, to Mr. and Mrs. John (Kate George) Drolshagen. She was married to Frank Brodbeck April 6, 1936. He survives. After their marriage they lived in Medford and the Town of Holway before moving to the Owen-Withee area.

A member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and its Ladies Altar Society, Mrs. Brodbeck is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Kate Drolshagen of Medford; three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Darlene) Kowalski, Mrs. William (Margaret) Strohkirch and Mrs. Edward (Barbara) Wolowki, all of Withee; Two sons, Frank A. of Green Bay, and Arthur of Jefferson; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her father, and a brother.
