JUL 1865 - 18 Feb 1921) Mrs. Bertha Arndt
(nee Rahm) died at the home of her brother Charles in Loyal, Clark
County, Wis., Friday evening Feb. 18, 1921 at the age of 55 years,
6 months and 21 days. Mrs. Arndt was
born in Germany July 28, 1865. She came to America with her parents
in 1881. In the year of 1885 she was married to Mr. Frederick
Arndt, who died about twenty years ago. To this union were born two
sons, Fred and august of Random Lake, Wis., and one daughter, Ida
of Minneapolis, Minn., besides these children she leaves to mourn
her loss three brothers, Charles of Loyal, August of Veefkind,
Edward of Beshler, Ohio and one sister, Mrs. Emma Bredleau of
Veefkind, and two grandchildren. She was a great
sufferer the greater part of her life, but bore it all bravely
until the end. The funeral
services were held at the Veefkind Lutheran Church Monday Feb. 21st
at 2 p.m., Rev. Matter officiating and burial took place in the
church cemetery. The Tribune
extends to the bereaved relatives their deepest sympathy in their
