Among the campers in Withee’s Grove are Hank Klopf and wife; County Clerk H.M. Root with no wife; Codfish J.D. Stanard and family; Co. Supt. Geo. E. Crothers; Al Marsh and family; Spence Marsh and family consisting of Charlie Breed, Bert Tolford, Hugo Bodmer, Geo A. Ure, Chas Trogner, Walt Calway, John Roberts and a kid; Doc Brewster and family; and Rev. J.H. McManus and family.
Notice was given that bids would be received until August 7, 1889 for furnishing material and erecting a school house in joint district No.1 of the town of Eaton and Weston. Plans can be seen at Gates, Stanard & Co. store in Neillsville. Dated July,13, 1889. Charles H. Shepard, Clerk. A.W. Loy, Director. Wm. B. Campbell, Treasurer.
Thorp Miss Clara Mertens, of St. Anns, Wis., is visiting her brother, M. Mertens, of this place.
W.S. Tufts, of Withee, was in town on business on Tuesday last.
