The Owen-Withee VFW Post 9007 was re-activated this summer, June 1977, by the
State Service Vice-Commander, Art Schultz. Since that month when the post was
activated, the members have elected their officers and have started meeting on
the second Thursday of each month a the Fire Hall in Owen.
The officers elected are: Post Commander, Dennis Henke; Senior Vice Commander,
Art Petke; Junior Vice Commander, Art Klabon Jr.; Quarter Master, Jerome
Kolpenen; Judge Advocate, Vic Decker; Chaplin, Ray Nevala; Surgeon, Lawrence
Henke; Officer of the Day, Art Erickson; and Trustees, Ed Roller, Lawrence Konik
and Stanley Koniecny.
