(Marriage - 12 NOV 1919) Miss Selma Erna
Goehring of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., and Mr. Herbert Helton of
Knoxville, Tenn., were united in marriage at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Goehring at Detroit, Mich., at 9:30 Wednesday evening,
Nov. 12, 1919 by Rev. Maywood. After the ceremony
the guests, who were the immediate relatives only, were served
refreshments. The bride was
attired in a blue messaline dress and the couple was
unattended. The bride is the
second daughter of Mrs. Lizzie Goehring of Loyal, Wis. She was a
graduate of our high school and has been a successful teacher for
four eyars. For the past five months she has held a position as
cashier in Detroit. She is a popular young lady and has many
friends. The groom is the
oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helton of Tennessee and has been
employed in Detroit for the past year. He is a capable young man
and is well liked by everyone. Their many friends
extend best wishes for a long and happy life. The young couple
