TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 06/17/1920 Kilburn, Veronica
(Marriage - 14 JUN 1920) At 8 o'clock
Monday morning June 14, 1920, a service was solemnized at St.
Balthasar's Catholic Church, when Miss Veronica Kilburn and Mr. Leo
Meyer were united in marriage, Rev. Stenz officiating. The bride was
becomingly attired in a navy blue suit and carried a shower bouquet
of roses and sweet peas. She was attended by her sister, Miss Clara
Kilburn and Miss Caroline Emerson as bridesmaids and the groom by
Messrs. J. Emerson and J. Esselman as groomsmen. After the ceremony
the bridal party with immediate relatives and a few friends
repaired to the home of Mrs. Kilburn, where a wedding dinner was
served. Many beautiful gifts were received. The contracting
parties are both well and favorably known in this vicinity (Clark
County, Wis.), and have the respect of everyone. The bride is the
oldest daughter of Mrs. H. Kilburn. She is a graduate of our local
high school of the class of 1913 and has for the past few years
been employed in our local stores. The groom is a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Meyer of Neillsville and is a capable and successful
young man. The Tribune joins
with many friends here in extending best wishes. Mr. and Mrs. Meyer
left the same day for a wedding trip to the Dells of Wis. and
Milwaukee and on their return will be at home in Loyal. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
