TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 07/22/1920 Vandehey, Mary E.
(Marriage - 13 Jul 1920) St. Balthasar's
Church at Loyal, Clark County, Wis. was the scene of a pretty
wedding on Tuesday morning, July 13, 1920, when Miss Mary E.
Vandehey and William McGrath were united in marriage by Rev. Joseph
F. Stenz. The bride was
attended by her sister, Miss Hazel Vandehey, and the groom by Mr.
Ervin Hughes. The bride was
attired in a beautiful dress of white satin and carried a shower
bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The bridesmaid wore a dress of
pink satin and georgette crepe and wore a corsage bouquet of
roses. Following the
ceremony at the church the bridal party and near relatives went to
the home of the bride, where a fine dinner was served. The groom is a
successful farmer and formerly lived in Fond du Lac Co., where he
owned a farm. He is an ex-service man, having been in the service
over a year. The bride is the
oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Vandehey of the town of
Beaver, Clark County, and is highly respected by everyone. The young couple
left the same day for a wedding trip to Milwaukee, Chicago and to
New York State. The Tribune joins
with many friends in extending best wishes for the welfare of the
young couple. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
