TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 09/23/1920 Erickson, Birdie
(Marriage - 16 Sep 1920) Miss Birdie
Erickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Erickson, and Lloyd Smith
were married at high noon on Thursday, Sept. 16, 1920 at Chippewa
Falls, by Rev. Paul Turner of the Presbyterian Church. Miss Helen
Smith, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid and Mr. Talbert
Erickson, brother of the bride, acted as groomsman. The bride was
becomingly attired in a dress of blue messaline and georgette, and
carried roses. The newlyweds left
the same day for several days trip and are at home on the M. J.
Smith & sons farm, where they have gone to housekeeping. The groom is an
ex-service man, having been a member of Co. F, 32nd Div and was two
years in service, fifteen months of that time was spent overseas.
He is highly respected and a dependable young man. The bride,
although living in this vicinity (Clark County, Wis.) only about a
year, has gained the respect of everyone. The Tribune joins
with friends of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in extending its heartiest
congratulations and good wishes for their future happiness. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
