In 1880, the family of William M. Jones, who was a 33 year old farmer, consisted of his wife, Sophia (26 yrs.), two sons, Alfred (4 yrs.) and Daniel (2 yrs.) and one daughter, Ida (6 mos.) William was born in PA, his father was born in Ny and his mother in Wales.
Sophis was born in WI, and bother her parents were born in Wales. She was a stay at home mom.
The family resided in Colby, Colby Township, Clark Co., Wisconsin.
The family of John & Ann Heinrich lived on one side of them and the family of William & Anna Will on the other.
