MAY 1858 - 18 May 1917) Henry J. Cade was
born in England May 30, 1858; died May 18, 1917. When about
twenty-one years of age, he came to America and made his home in
Milwaukee a short time before coming to Colby, Wis. On Oct. 23,
1884, he was married to Myra L. Cole. Five children were born to
them, three of who are still living. Mr. Cade lived
here with his family until about twelve years ago, when they moved
to Coloma, Wis., where they lived on a farm for some time. After
disposing of the farm he went into the merchandise business. Mr. Cade was
always a hard working man and a kind husband and father, and will
be greatly missed by all who knew him. The funeral was
held from the M. E. Church in New Lisbon, Monday, May 21, Rev. F.
M. Prince of Woneowc conducting the services. Relatives and friends
from abroad who attended his funeral were L. L. Cole of Madison,
Mrs. C. Hebard of Sparta, Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Cole of Canton, Minn.,
