Cade, Henry J. (30 MAY 1858 - 18 May 1917)

Henry J. Cade was born in England May 30, 1858; died May 18, 1917. When about twenty-one years of age, he came to America and made his home in Milwaukee a short time before coming to Colby, Wis. On Oct. 23, 1884, he was married to Myra L. Cole. Five children were born to them, three of who are still living.

Mr. Cade lived here with his family until about twelve years ago, when they moved to Coloma, Wis., where they lived on a farm for some time. After disposing of the farm he went into the merchandise business.

Mr. Cade was always a hard working man and a kind husband and father, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The funeral was held from the M. E. Church in New Lisbon, Monday, May 21, Rev. F. M. Prince of Woneowc conducting the services. Relatives and friends from abroad who attended his funeral were L. L. Cole of Madison, Mrs. C. Hebard of Sparta, Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Cole of Canton, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Cole of this city.

Henry  J. Cade has the agency for Cole's wonderful Air Tight Heaters.  Before buying a stove call on Henry and see on work.  They are dandies.
