AUG 1832 - 30 May 1918) A resident of the
town of Hoard, Clark County, Wis., three miles northwest of
Curtiss, since the year 1893, Vincent Boehm passed away at the home
of his daughter, Mrs. W. Kopp, Tuesday, May 30, 1918, at the
advanced age of 85 years. The cause of death was a general breaking
down due to old age and other infirmities. Deceased was born
in Tyssa, Bohemia, Austria, Aug. 20, 1832. He leaves one son
and one daughter, the former, Herman Boehm, residing in the village
of Curtiss and the latter, Mrs. Wolfgang Kopp, on the farm in the
town of Hoard. The fuenral was
held Thursday afternoon, May 2nd, at 2 o'clock, from the residence
of his daughter, rev. A. L. Scherry, of this city officiating and
interment was made in the Norwegian Cemetery at Curtiss. The
funeral service was very largely attended, testifying to the
respect in which deceased was held by his large circle of neighbors
