PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 05/23/1918 Eder, Anne (1846 -
17 May 1918) The funeral of
Mrs. George Eder was held from St. Mary's Church in this city
(Colby, Wis.) Tuesday, Rev. Lachnit officiating, and interment made
in Colby St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Eder passed
away at Richland Center May 17, 1918 and the remains were brought
to this city for burial in the family lot beside the body of her
son, George, who died at Fond du Lac about three weeks ago. Deceased was born
in Bavaria, Germany, in the year 1846 and was thus in her
seventy-second year at the time of death. Her maiden name was Anne
Rainer and she came to this country with her parents in 1868, and
was married to George Eder in 1869, and passed away May 17th, the
cause of death being yellow jaundice. She had been a sufferer for
many years and for the past years has been a patient in a
sanitarium. She leaves a
husband, three sons and one daughter. Of the sons Henry resides
here, John at Pittsburgh, Pa., Joseph at Newark, N.J., and the
