PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 06/27/1918 Bandow, Willie (16
FEB 1891 - 25 JUN 1918) One of the saddest
occurrences that the Phonograph has been called upon to note for
some time was the sudden death of Willie Bandow, which took place
in this city (Colby, Wis.) Tuesday. The young man, who was in his
seventeenth year, had been brought to the physician's office here
for treatment and it was expected that a minor operation would be
necessary, but death came before the operation had been commenced
and was due to heart failure. Deceased was the
son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Bandow of the town of Frankfort,
Marathon, Co., Wis. He was born in the town of Colby, Clark County
Feb. 16, 1891, the family later moving to the town of Frankfort,
where they now reside. Besides the sorrowing parents, there are two
brothers and three sisters to mourn his loss. The funeral will
be held from the family home in Frankfort and from Zion Lutheran
Church in this city at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 29th. The funeral
sermon will be preached by Rev. Jensen of Milan, and interment made
in the Colby Cemetery. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
