PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 06/14/1917 Schwierske, Selma
(Marriage - 7 JUN 1917) A very pretty June
wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mess in
this city Thursday evening, June 7, 1917, when Mr. William H.
Turner and Miss Selma Schwierske were united in marriage. The
ceremony was performed in the presence of only the immediate
relatives of the contracting parties, Rev. F. Zimmerman, pastor of
the Presbyterian Church, officiating. (Phillip Times) The couple arrived
in this city (Colby, Wis.) Monday for a short visit with the
bride's brother, Fred Schwierske, and family. The new Mrs. Turner
is quite well acquainted here, having made her home with her
cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mess, here before they moved to
Phillips. She is a most charming and estimable young lady and her
many friends will wish them their cup of happiness. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
