PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 09/20/1917 Beyer, Martha A.
(Marriage - 6 Sep 1917) Married, at St.
Mary's Catholic Church at Colby, Wis., on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 1917,
Miss Martha A. Beyer to Fred N. Weydert, Rev. Fr. Lachnit
officiating. These two
well-known young people were quietly married last Wednesday morning
at the above named church in the presence of the relatives of the
bride and groom. The bride was most bewitchingly dressed in a
creation of white satin and carried roses. She was attended by Miss
Clara Weber of Janesville, and Miss Anna Hanson of Abbotsford, as
bridesmaids, both of who were dressed in white crepe du chine,
while the groom was attended by Wm. Weydert and Paul R. Beyer.
After the solemn vows had been given, they left on the early
morning train for Janesville, Wis., and Aurora, Ill., where they
will spend a short time with relatives, after which they will
return to their home in the town of Brighton, Marathon County, Wis.
All our people are well acquainted with these two young people and
all wish Fred and Martha health and happiness through life. (Unity
