PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 12/20/1917 Schumann, Lydia
(Marriage - 12 Dec 1917) Miss Lydia
Schumann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schumann, and Edwin Louis
Frome, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frome, both of the town of Colby,
Clark County, Wis., were married at the Lutheran Church in Green
Grove, on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1917, by Rev. Behrendt, only the near
relatives of the couple being present. They were attended by the
Misses Meta From and Emma Schreiber, and Wallace From and Louis
Tesmer, who came clear up from Galena, Ill., to stand up with them.
The bride wore a white crepe de chine gown and carried a bouquet of
white roses and daisies. The bridesmaids were dressed in pink and
carried pink roses. The newlyweds are very popular young people of
this community and have the best wishes of a host of friends. They
will live on the Schumann farm during the winter. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
