PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 01/03/1918 Burkhardt, Eleanor
(Marriage - 27 Dec 1917) The marriage of
Miss Eleanor Burkhardt and Sgt. Wm. Coleman of St. Paul, stationed
at Camp Pike, Ark., took place Thursday morning, Dec. 27, 1917, at
the Cathedral in St. Paul, Rev. Thomas Keane performing the
ceremony. P. H. Deenan and
Mrs. W. J. Cummings, both of St. Paul, acted as best man and matron
of honor, respectively. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast and
reception were held at the home of Mr. Deenan. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burkhardt of this city (Colby,
Wis.), and is well known and liked by all her acquaintances for her
agreeableness and pleasing personality. She has been employed in
St. Paul for several years. Sgt. Coleman, who was home on a
Christman furlough, is to be congratulated on taking advantage of
the opportunity to claim this charming young lady for his bride. He
will leave for Camp Pike this week. Mrs. Coleman will remain for
the present in St. Paul. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
