Milligan, Marilyn Ann (9 July 1983)
Faith Christian Church was the setting for the July 9 wedding of Miss Marilyn
Ann Milligan, daughter of Mrs. Gloria Milligan, 1101 S. Cherry Ave., and the
late Hugh O. Milligan, and Mathew Martin Gibbons, Route 1, Granton, son of Mrs.
Joan Gibbons, Granton and Dr. Richard Gibbons, Milwaukee.
Pastor Edwin Gungor conducted the rites during which the bride was given by her
brother, Michael Milligan. Jeff Harder played the piano and sang a duet with
Laurie Zaborowski. The bride's mother and Edward Gibbons also sang.
The bride had an ivory satin and lace gown, a wreath of baby's breath in her
hair and an arrangement of yellow and lavender roses and carnations with baby's
breath.
Mrs. Sharon Nelson of Arpin was matron of honor and Misses Kathy and Carol
Milligan of Marshfield were bridesmaids. Mrs. Nelson had a yellow Jacket
ensemble and the bridesmaids were in lavender and light green respectively. Each
had a bouquet of lavender and yellow carnations with baby's breath.
Best man was Daniel Gibbons, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Groomsmen were Michael
Milligan, Granton, and Edward Gibbons, Austin, Texas, and ushering were Jon
Nelson, Arpin, and Darrell Beilke, Granton.
The reception and dance were at Marshfield Labor Temple. The newlyweds, who are
living in Marshfield, plan a trip in winter to Virginia Beach, Virginia,
The bride graduated from Granton High School in 1973 and her husband from J.I.
Case High School in 1972. He also attended Racine Technical Institute for a year
taking a welding course, and is an employee of Rollohome Corp.
