PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 11/07/1918 Peterson, Louis
(1860 - 23 OCT 1918) Elmer Meach,
secretary of the local E. F. U. Assembly, received announcement of
the death of Louis A. Peterson, which occurred at his home in
Bayside, Texas, Oct. 23, 1918, of tuberculosis of the bone. He was
58 years of age and had been a sufferer of the malady for several
years. Louis Peterson
will be very well remembered by a great many of this community, he
having located in Colby, Wis. with his family some twenty-three
years ago, coming here from Ashland. His wife died about seventeen
years ago. He remained here in business until June 1908, when he
decided to go to Bayside and enter into the livery business in
which he had since been active. Mr. Peterson was a
pleasant honest and likeable man and the many friends here will
deeply sympathize with his two daughters and one son who survive
him. He was also a member of the Colby E. F. U. Assembly and the
organization will regret the loss of their sociable friend. He was
buried at Bayside Oct. 26th. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
