PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 11/07/1918 Stewart, Harvey
(13 Feb 1871 - 2 NOV 1918) Harvey Stewart
died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Perly Reas, at Park Falls,
Wis., on Saturday morning Nov. 2, 1918, of Asthma, after an illness
of about one year. Mr. Stewart was
born at Harrisville, Wis., Feb. 13, 1871, and came to Marathon Co.,
Wis. a number of years ago. He was married to Lillian Leffel some
twenty years ago and lived on a farm in the town of Hull for about
two years, later moving to a farm near March Rapids. Mr. Stewart spent
the greater part of last winter in Colorado in hopes that the
climate there would be of benefit to his health, but the change
apparently did not improve his condition. After returning to
Wisconsin he spent several weeks at the Mayo Hospital in Rochester,
Minn., but to no avail. He then returned to the home of his sister
at Park Falls and remained there until death ended his
suffering. The funeral
services were held privately at the Colby Cemetery and were
conducted by Rev. A. L. Scherry of this city. Deceased is survived
by a wife. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
