PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 06/26/1919 Sterzinger,
Magdalen (15 Apr 1917 - 17 JUN 1919) Died, at her home
in this city (Colby, Wis.) June 17, 1919, little Magdalen
Sterzinger, aged two years, two months and two days, of convulsions
after an illness of but one day's duration. Burial services were
held last Friday from St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rev. H. Lachnit
officiating. Interment was made in Colby St. Mary's Catholic
Cemetery. Besides her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. George J. Sterzinger, she is also survived by
three brothers and one sister. Over a happy home
the shadow of a little grave has fallen, and as another has said,
it is wonderful how long a shadow a little grave can throw. This beautiful
baby life was so precious, so fraught with blessing to her parents
that she seemed a flower of paradise permitted to bloom for a brief
season by their side, then recalled to its nature skies, leaving
the earth road for them dark and lonely indeed. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
