(Marriage - Sep 1918) The many friends
of Walter C. Foster will be pleased to read the following item from
one of our Milwaukee exchanges: "John A. Gettman,
668 Thirty-third St., announces the marriage of his daughter, Lynda
Juliane, to Lieut. Walter C. Foster, Tuesday morning at the chapel
of St. John's Cathedral, the Rev. T. Myles officiating. The couple
was attended by Miss Alberta McNaghton, bridesmaid, and J. P.
Riley, best man. The wedding breakfast was served at the home of
the bride's sister, Mrs. R. H. Pritzlaff." Mr. and Mrs. Amos
Foster of near Colby, parents of the groom, and a sister,
Marguerite, attended the wedding. Mr. Foster
enlisted in the army Sept. 1917 and was stationed at Camp Custer
for ten months and was then transferred to Camp Zackary, Taylor,
Ky., where he was appointed Second Lieutenant on Aug. 31, 1918. At
present he is stationed in the training school at Fort Sell, Okla.
