(Marriage - 15 Sep 1918) Miss Vera Burhop,
eldest daughter of Mrs. Ga. A. Webb of Abbotsford, Wis., and Mr.
Earl W. Taylor of Plover, were happily married Sunday noon at the
home of the bride's mother, Rev. Scherry of Colby, officiating. The bride has
gained, through her amiable and loveable disposition, a host of
friends among old and young at Abbotsford. Mr. Taylor is a highly
respected young man whose home is at Plover, Portage County. The young couple
will make their home at Stevens Point for the present, where Mr.
Taylor is employed in the paper mills. The many friends, in
collaboration with the Phonograph, extend wishes for continued
