PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 10/03/1918 Schoetzel, Meta
(Marriage - 2 OCT 1918) The Green Grove,
Clark County Lutheran Church was the scene of a pretty wedding
Wednesday afternoon when Miss Meta Schoetzel, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. August Schoetzel, became the bride of Mr. Walter Bahn, son of
Mrs. Otto Bahn. Rev. Behrendt, in a solemn impressive manner
performed the ceremony. The Misses Anna Schultz and Dela Bahn acted
as bridesmaids and Messrs. Rudolph Schoetzel and Edgar Bahn as
groomsmen. The bride was
attired in a beautiful gown of beaded toupe gray georgette and
carried a bouquet of white asters intertwined with white
daisies. The bride is a
young lady of many graces of mind and person, who is capable of
filling the home she will adorn with happiness and will prove to be
truly a helpmate and companion by the husband she has chosen to
honor with her hand. The groom is from
one of our best families, and by those who know him in this city
(Colby, Wis.), he is considered one of the substantial and coming
young men of the county, who will make his mark as the worthy son
of honorable parents. The congratulations on the happy event are
numerous and the Phonograph is greatly pleased on this occasion to
add its heart good wishes to those so freely extended. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
