PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 07/24/1919 Rosin, Esther M.
(Marriage - 19 Jul 1919) On Saturday
evening, July 19, 1919, at 9:00 p.m., occurred the marriage of Miss
Esther M. Rosin of Colby, Wis. to Mr. Will Miller of Curtiss, Clark
County, Wis. The ceremony was performed at the M. E. Church, the
Rev. Paul officiating. The bride wore a
gown of dark cream charmeuse satin with over drape of silk crepe de
chine, beautifully trimmed with silver beads and carried a bridal
bouquet of roses. The groom wore a suit of dark blue. After the ceremony
they left on the night train for an extended trip to Iowa and
Minnesota to visit relatives of both the bride and groom. The bride was one
of Colby's esteemed young ladies, having grown to womanhood in our
midst. She has had seven years of successful teaching, having
taught five years in the district of her future home, where the
people welcome her to their midst. The groom is one
of our progressive young farmers who is respected by all who have
the pleasure of knowing him. They will be at
home to their many friends on the groom's farm near Curtiss after
Aug. 1st. We join with their many friends in wishing them happiness
and prosperity in their married life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
