Obituary of Connie Fischer
Connie Fischer, 59, Colby, Wisconsin, died of cancer on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 at her home. After cremation, the family will have a private service at the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Connie Loos was born June 1, 1944, in Owen, to Helen Vaitonis and Clinton Loos. She graduated from Colby High School in 1962. She married Jerome "Jerry" Fischer on May 16, 1964 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity. She was an administrative support person at the Marshfield Public Schools, Land O' Lakes Feeds, Spencer, and Kraft Pizza Company, Medford.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Fischer, Colby; her daughter Sherri (Dennis) Rieck and their children Kaitlyn and Colten, Medford; two sisters, Linda (Robert) Scarth, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jane (Joel Brenner) Loos, Washington, D.C.; one sister-in-law, Linda Fischer, Unity; and one brother-in-law, Larry Fischer, Chippewa Falls.
Community Funeral Home, Colby, assisted the family with arrangements.
