Mueller, Frederick E. (1875 - 22 Jan 1920)

Frederick Ernest Mueller died at his home in the town of Colby, Clark County, Wis. at 11 o’clock p.m., on Thursday, Jan 22, 1920, aged 71 years, 11 months and 4 days, after an illness of long duration.

Deceased was born in Germany and in 1875 was united in marriage to Henrietta Helm. In the year 1882 they came to America, settling in Sheboygan Co., Wis. The following year they came to Colby, Wis. and settled on the farm, which has since, been their home.

Thirteen children were born to them, ten of who are still living, Mrs. Jon Miller, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. Clark, Owen; Ernest, Charles, William and Mrs. Herbert Gray, all of the town of Colby; Mrs. John Goetz, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Harry Butterud, Halifax, N. S.; Mrs. John Metts, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. Zelma Miller, Minneapolis, Minn.

The funeral was held from the residence on Monday, Rev. Wm. Huenemann, pastor of the Reformed Church of Curtiss, officiating, and the remains laid to rest in the Colby Cemetery.
