APR 1852 - 20 Feb 1920) Henry Nelson died
at his home in the village of Abbotsford, Wis. on Feb. 20, 1920.
Mr. Nelson was born in Skean, Norway on April 6, 1852 and when but
a young lad came to America and was reared to manhood at Port
Washington, Wis. In Aug. 1880 he was married to Miss Anna Hanson
and the next year they came north and settled on a farm a mile west
of Abbotsford, where thye continued to live until about two years
ago when they moved into the village. Mr. Nelson was a
father of eight children, two died in infancy and one son passed
away a year ago last October. Thus, he leaves to mourn him a wife,
two sons and three daughters, three brothers, a sister and eight
grandchildren, besides many other relatives and friends. The funeral was
held from the Union Church in Abbotsford on last Monday afternoon
at 2:30 and his remains laid to rest in the Abbotsford
Cemetery. Those from out of
town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Wm. Schulz of Cornell, Miss
Luella, Mrs. Anna Nelson and child of Tuttle, N.D., Ole Nelson of
St. Paul, Andrew Nelson of Wilson, Wis. and Herbert Nelson of
