MAR 1892 - 31 Mar 1920) Mrs. Jake Johnson
of Curtiss, Clark County, Wis. died at St. Joseph’s Hospital
in Chippewa Falls on Wednesday evening, March 31, 1920, after an
illness of about two months. Elsie Dake,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dake of Dorchester, was born in the
town of Mayville, Clark County, March 9, 1892. On Nov. 26, 1913,
she was united in marriage to Jacob Johnson and since that time
they have made their home at Curtiss. She is survived by
her husband and one son, Lavern, aged 6, her mother, Mrs. Anna
Dake, Ray Dake, a brother, and two sisters, Mrs. Al Johnson and
Mrs. Wm. Blasekleka, besides numerous other relatives and a host of
friends who deeply sympathize with the loved ones she leaves to
mourn her death. The funeral
services were held from the Norwegian Lutheran Church in Curtiss on
