The Plymouth, Wis. Review under date of Feb. 9 brings the sad news of the death of Mrs. Wilhelmine Meyer, who, after a life of four score years and ten, passed peacefully away, and the remains were laid to rest beside those of her husband in the Plymouth Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Meyer, who was the widow of the well known pioneer, George J. Meyer, was born Sept. 2, 1830, in Sachse-Weimar, Germany, and came to America in June 1852, and located at Centerville, where she was married. There are ten surviving children, of who is Charles Meyer of Colby, Wis., and Louis Meyer, Withee, Clark County, Wis. There also survived fifty-one grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
