George Bradley, the young man who, while acting as clerk of the town of Thorpe, forged orders to the amount of several hundred dollars, enriching himself by the sale of the same, after which he left for parts unknown, was captured at Trenton, Iowa, Tuesday night, at 11;30 by Sheriff Philpott.

Henry Lusely and Mrs. Hickock, the parties brought back to this county from the State Hospital for the Insane, last week, have been sent to the county farm. An effort will probably be made to have them admitted to some county asylum, there being several counties in the state supporting asylums of their own. There is no doubt but what they will receive good care at their present quarters, but it would be much better for them to be placed where they could receive treatment as well as care.

The barber shop and bath-rooms of Wm. Aldrich were moved into their new quarters in the basement of Bruley’s building last Monday. The arrangement of the new shop is quite convenient, and taken throughout, the change is a good one both of Mr. Aldrich and his customers.
